Our Journey
House of the Mother Mary thrives on bold colors and plants, drawing inspiration from the natural world, 80's dark new wave, and water. Founded by Roux Noel Conant, our studio adapts creative practices to accommodate Roux's variable chronic disabilities and available energy to create at any given time. Roux accesses and makes whatever they are able to on a daily basis, ranging from jewelry making in a padded rocking chair to throwing on the potters wheel. Honoring imagination, sustainability, and inclusivity are amongst the core values at House of the Mother Mary. Each piece we create is a testament to the spirit of hand making, emphasizing artisan quality inherent uniqueness.
